Photography is a wonderful thing. It enables you to capture a moment in time which will never, ever, be repeated.
I have gone back to my photographic roots. I have replaced most of my Canon "L Series" wide angle prime and zoom lens with 3 Zeiss Manual focus, no IS, lenses (18mm, 25mm, 50mm). They compliment my 5D Mk3 and 1D Mk 4 beautifully. I was brought up "photography wise" with manual focus cameras and lenses so it's no big deal for me.
If you are used to Image Stabilization/Autofocus these Zeiss lenses are probably not for you, fabulous as they are!
I have kept my 24-105mm and 70-200 F2.8 plus 1.4 Mk3 extender, and also my 100mm F2.8L IS Macro.
I have added a Leica D-Lux5 to my arsenal for street photography.
I still believe in "Zen" when it comes to anything electronic! Be nice to your computer, camera or whatever, and it tends to be a little better behaved! Don't yell at it 'cos it will bite you back!
